Lexus ES: Installation

INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the generator assembly with the bolt and 2 nuts.

Torque:

25 N·m {255 kgf·cm, 18 ft·lbf}

(b) Engage the clamp.

(c) Connect the E.F.I. vacuum sensor assembly (manifold absolute pressure sensor) connector.

(d) Install the wire harness clamp bracket to the generator assembly with the bolt.

Torque:

10 N·m {102 kgf·cm, 7 ft·lbf}

(e) Connect the wire harness to terminal B with the nut.

Torque:

9.8 N·m {100 kgf·cm, 87 in·lbf}

(f) Close the terminal cap.

(g) Connect the generator assembly connector.
