Lexus ES: Cruise Control System Internal Failure (P057504,P057549)

DESCRIPTION

When the ECM detects an internal malfunction, DTC P057504 or P057549 is stored.

When the dynamic radar cruise control system is operating, the ECM detects a malfunction in the internal cancel circuit for 0.4 seconds or more.

PROCEDURE

1.

CHECK FOR DTCs

(a) Clear the DTCs.

Powertrain > Radar Cruise1 > Clear DTCs

(b) Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

HINT:

If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.

(c) Check for DTCs.

Powertrain > Radar Cruise1 > Trouble Codes

Result

Proceed to

DTC P057504 and P057549 are not output.
