PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT MAP LIGHT SUB-ASSEMBLY (PANORAMIC MOON ROOF SWITCH) (for Panoramic Moon Roof)
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard Resistance: Tester Connection | Condition | Specified Condition | 11 - 19 | Sliding roof switch slid backward | Below 100 Ω | 11 - 19 | Sliding roof switch not slid backward | 1 kΩ or higher | 12 - 19 | Sliding roof switch slid forward | Below 100 Ω | 12 - 19 | Sliding roof switch not slid forward | 1 kΩ or higher | 7 - 19 | Tilt switch pressed | Below 100 Ω | 7 - 19 | Tilt switch not pressed | 1 kΩ or higher | 23 - 19 | Roof sunshade switch slid backward | Below 100 Ω | 23 - 19 | Roof sunshade switch not slid backward | 1 kΩ or higher | 24 - 19 | Roof sunshade switch slid forward | Below 100 Ω | 24 - 19 | Roof sunshade switch not slid forward | 1 kΩ or higher | If the result is not as specified, replace the panoramic moon roof switch (map light sub-assembly). | | *a | Sliding Roof Switch | *b | Tilt Switch | *c | Roof Sunshade Switch | *d | Component without harness connected (Panoramic Moon Roof Switch (Map Light Sub-assembly))
2. INSPECT MAP LIGHT SUB-ASSEMBLY (SLIDING ROOF SWITCH) (for Moon Roof)
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard Resistance: Tester Connection | Condition | Specified Condition | 23 - 19 | UP switch pressed | Below 100 Ω | 23 - 19 | UP switch not pressed | 1 kΩ or higher | 24 - 19 | DOWN switch pressed | Below 100 Ω | 24 - 19 | DOWN switch not pressed | 1 kΩ or higher | 11 - 19 | OPEN switch pressed | Below 100 Ω | 11 - 19 | OPEN switch not pressed | 1 kΩ or higher | 12 - 19 | CLOSE switch pressed | Below 100 Ω | 12 - 19 | CLOSE switch not pressed | 1 kΩ or higher | If the result is not as specified, replace the sliding roof switch (map light sub-assembly). | | *a | Tilt Switch | *b | Sliding Roof Switch | *c | Component without harness connected (Sliding Roof Switch (Map Light Sub-assembly))
