  • Use the table below to help determine the cause of problem symptoms. If multiple suspected areas are listed, the potential causes of the symptoms are listed in order of probability in the "Suspected Area" column of the table. Check each symptom by checking the suspected areas in the order they are listed. Replace parts as necessary.
  • Inspect the fuses and relays related to this system before inspecting the suspected areas below.

With all doors locked, the power trunk lid does not operate according to the luggage electrical key switch operation while the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly is being held

Proceed to "Smart Access System with Push-bottom Start (for Entry Function)"

With all doors unlocked, the power trunk lid does not operate according to the luggage electrical key switch operation without carrying the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly

Check the customization setting

Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)

The power trunk lid does not operate according to the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly operation (the power trunk lid operates with the cabin switch)

Electrical key transmitter sub-assembly

The luggage compartment door closer does not reverse rotation operation properly when the luggage electrical key switch is operated (during the luggage compartment door closer operation) (luggage compartment door closer is normally)

Proceed to "Smart Access System with Push-bottom Start (for Entry Function)"
