DESCRIPTION
DTC B2222 is output when there is a malfunction in the door pulse sensor system inside the luggage closer motor assembly and a normal waveform is not input to the door pulse sensor during a power trunk lid operation. Also, this DTC is output when there is a malfunction in the power trunk lid drive power source.
DTC B2225 is output if there is a malfunction in the clutch circuit of the luggage closer motor assembly.

PROCEDURE
1. | CHECK FOR DTC |
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Back Door / Trouble Codes.
(e) Clear the DTCs.
Body Electrical > Back Door > Clear DTCs(f) Check for DTCs.
Body Electrical > Back Door > Trouble CodesOK:
DTC B2222 and B2225 are not output.

2. | CHECK LUGGAGE CLOSER MOTOR ASSEMBLY (INPUT VOLTAGE) |
(a) Disconnect the R7 luggage closer motor assembly connector.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:
