INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL SUSPENSION TOWER DAMPER

(a) Using a union nut wrench, install the suspension tower damper to the vehicle with the 2 nuts.

Torque:

Specified tightening torque :

35 N·m {357 kgf·cm, 26 ft·lbf}

NOTICE:

Do not extend or compress the damper.

HINT:

  • Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.

  • When using a union nut wrench (fulcrum length of 25 mm (0.984 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 162 mm (6.38 in.)):

    30 N*m (306 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf)

2. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD (for 2GR-FKS)

(a) Install the rear No. 1 floor board with the 3 grommets (B) and 2 clips (C).

(b) Install the 4 clips (A).

3. INSTALL REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER (for A25A-FXS)

(a) Install the rear floor side member cover with the 3 grommets (B) and 2 clips (C).

(b) Install the bolt and 8 clips (A).

Torque:

Bolt :

7.5 N·m {76 kgf·cm, 66 in·lbf}
